Hello I am Yongchen Wu, a junior student who is considering to be a singer in the future. In this post, I am going to explain how and why I am taking the IB theatre class. The first thing making me join the class is that I enjoy the feeling of being cheered on the stage. My first time on stage was last autumn. I prepared for a 3 minutes speech to run for the president of student body of the school. Before I stepped on the stage, my friends warned me not to stare on the audiences but do what you want. I felt my heart bumping in my chest 1 minutes before I go to the stage. When I stood on the rostrum, I felt time passing so fast like I lost my awareness but I was doing what I supposed to. I never looked at the audiences (host mc of Christmas party) at all. Even though I was extremely nervous but I finally got through that. In fact, I felt great achievement after standing on the stage.
